Your Lesson Time:
Your guitar journey begins with a thirty-minute time slot on the same day each week. To ensure maximum progress, please try to make your lesson time as rescheduling may be difficult due to the high number of students.
Materials:
The only things you need to bring to each lesson are your guitar and a trusty notebook (preferably the same one each week). Of course, additional items like a guitar tuner, metronome, extra strings, and picks can be ordered through SI Studios to enhance your playing experience.
Lesson Time:
I’m all about helping you achieve your musical dreams, which is why I request that parents or caregivers be present during the lesson. Unfortunately, friends, siblings, and other distractions are discouraged from being present in the lesson room as we want to ensure the best learning environment for you.
Practice:
Practice makes perfect, and daily practice routines are the key to success. Even just 15-30 minutes a day can make a huge difference. During each lesson, you’ll receive an assignment to work on throughout the week, and the most important thing is to remember that learning the guitar should be a fun experience, not homework!
Payment:
At only $20/half-hour ($25/half-hour via Skype, Zoom, etc.), lessons are a great investment in your musical future. However, to combat the ever-increasing amount of no shows and last-minute cancellations, students are required to pay for two lessons during their first lesson as a security deposit. The security deposit will be refunded at the final lesson or can be used for the final lesson if not forfeited (see below).
Cancellations:
Life happens, and sometimes you’ll need to cancel a lesson. To make things fair for everyone, students are required to give 24-hour notice for cancellations. If proper notice is not given and it is not an emergency, the student will forfeit their security deposit to pay for the missed lesson. Upon returning to the next lesson, they will need to pay for two lessons again to reinstate their security deposit. When a student decides to cancel their lessons completely, either their last lesson will be free, or their security deposit will be returned.
